When will I receive my eggs?
We generally ship hatching eggs from mid-February through October. While we strive to provide accurate estimates on shipping times, delays can occur as we are a small farm, and chickens can be unpredictable.
How will my eggs be shipped?
Hatching eggs will be shipped via either USPS Priority (1-3 days) or FedEx 2-Day, depending on which option is more economical for your location. Each egg will be individually wrapped in bubble wrap, and the inside of the box will be lined with aluminum foil for added protection.
What if my eggs break during shipment?
We will reship or refund any damaged eggs. Our packaging is designed to prevent breakage, and currently, reports indicate that 99% of our eggs have arrived intact. For example, one customer reported that all 13 of his eggs hatched, while another who lives over 1000 miles away confirmed that 21 out of 24 eggs hatched successfully.
What if my eggs don’t hatch?
To increase your hatch rate, let the eggs rest for 48 hours in a cool place before incubating. If you experience a poor hatch, please contact us. We offer one free replacement shipment.
Can you determine the sex of the eggs?
No, the eggs are not sexed before shipment.
How old are the eggs?
The eggs are fertile and no more than three days old at the time of mailing.
Can I get mixed-breed hatching eggs?
No, we only raise purebred birds.
