Even if the eggs appear undamaged externally, postal handling can sometimes cause internal damage that prevents hatching. The internal structures of a chicken egg are delicate and can be disrupted even if the shell is intact. Additionally, the eggs may be subjected to X-ray scans during shipping, which can compromise their viability.
